"We just got our pictures back, and they are phenomenal. The emotion and pure joy of the day is so well-captured, and her use of lighting, color, and framing is exceptional. There is a perfect blend of posed pictures with candids, without anything looking too "pose-y" or unnatural. So highly recommended!"

What is it like to work with me?

If the idea of being photographed makes you cringe slightly, stay with me — you’ll be just fine.

I’m calm, easy-going, and very intuitive. I’ll guide you when needed, step back when moments are unfolding naturally, and make sure no one feels awkward, rushed, or over-directed.

I’m especially good with grandparents, kids, and babies (apparently I have a baby-whisperer thing going), and I care deeply about making sure everyone feels comfortable and taken care of.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I was trained using film cameras and often am asked to use a hybrid of both analog film and digital capture. I use professional grade digital Nikon SLR and mirrorless camera bodies and lenses. I have a minimum of two camera bodies, six lenses and four flash units in my kit.

Do you charge a travel fee?

I love to travel! I work throughout New England and the east coast. Travel fees are incurred for locations 80 miles or more from central Rhode Island. Depending on the location, you may be responsible for airfare, hotel, train, etc

How many images can we expect?

I average 100 finished, edited images per hour for a wedding These are the "best of the best" images. I make sure to cull and edit your collection carefully.

Do you carry business insurance?

Yes, my business is fully insured. I'm happy to send your venue a COI should they request it.

Do you work alone or with a second photographer?

I often work alone at events less than 100 guests. I've been photographing for over 15 years and I'm super cozy at large events. Weddings over 150 guests, I prefer to work with my small team of associate photographers. They are all professional photographers like myself who I trust entirely. They are THE best!

A signed contract and retainer officially reserve your date on my calendar. From there, I’ll guide you through next steps and planning details so everything feels easy and well-organized leading up to your wedding.

Yes. I work closely with my couples to ensure the photography timeline feels natural, unrushed, and realistic. I’m happy to collaborate with your planner or help create a photography-focused timeline that allows space for genuine moments while keeping the day flowing smoothly.
